A trip with my family

Last weekend, my family and I took a short trip to Kampot, a quiet town in southern Cambodia.

We wanted to spend time together and enjoy a peaceful place away from the busy city.

Kampot was the perfect choice.

We left Phnom Penh in early morning and arrived Kampot around 12pm we check in the hotel and rest a bit then we went to Apicars Cafe to have lunch , we had Khmer dish such as ahmok, loklak beef , papaya salad etc .

The food was so good , and the atmosphere was so relaxing.

In the evening we walk along the river side my nephews drove on small motorcycles they really enjoyed it.

After that we had dinner at Lomhor pub beach where I used to go with my company’s trip we also have some beer and listened to people singing.

I miss those time already !

The next day in the morning my family woke up early to had some coffee and take some pictures after we went to bokor mountain , I never forget to buy a lot of bananas for the monkeys on the way to the top of mountain they are so cute and lovely.

What caught my attention is on our way back from the top I saw many restaurants that are new opening! I had matcha and watched the amazing view with the amazed feeling it make my mind so peaceful.

During our stay, we spent most of our time enjoying simple activities.

We walked along the Kampot River, sat at small cafés, and watched the sunset together.

One of the best parts of the trip was sharing meals as a family.

The food was fresh and delicious, and eating together gave us time to talk and enjoy each other’s company.

What I loved most about this trip was the time spent with my family.

There was no rush and no stress—just peaceful moments and shared laughter.

Kampot’s slow pace helped us relax and appreciate the little things.

In the end, our family trip to Kampot was short but meaningful.

It reminded me that traveling does not have to be far or expensive to be special.

Sometimes, the best trips are simply about being together.
